Win Tickets to FLIGHT at the Leonardo!

Check out the newest exhibit at the Leonardo in downtown Salt Lake- Flight, the World’s Largest Field Trip!  Right now you can help with the fundraising endeavors with this new exhibit and be one of the first to check out this new attraction.  Flight opens in August and we want you and your family to be the first to check it out!

This exhibit features a giant C-31 aircraft which was actually flown commercially and for military flights.  You can get inside the plane, run on the wings from one side to the other and even get in the cockpit.  Kids of all ages will be booming with excitement!

The C-31 is just a few of the things you can see.  There will be other planes to check out, such as the Russian MiG-21 Fighter Jet.  There will be interactive activities that will teach you about flight, including animal flight for those animal lovers out there!

For backing the exhibit with a $50 donation, you and your family will be able to attend the World’s Largest Field Trip on August 5th from 1:00 to 4:00pm before it opens to the public.  This donation is good for 4 people to get in to the event.  You will also be able to build your own paper airplanes and throw them off the roof of the Salt Lake Library.  You’ll be able to meet with paper airplane building experts as well enjoy flight related food and drink.  Did I mention the real live skywriter you’ll be able to see as well?

BONUS!  Leave a comment on what you love about airplanes, flight or why you would love to attend this exhibit and you will be entered to win a Family Plus pass to the museum.  This pass is good for one year and allows 2 adults and up to 6 guest year round access to the museum and all the exhibits.  You also get 15% off in the bistro and the retail store. It’s valued at $145 so don’t miss out on this chance to win this awesome prize!

  1. I have always loved the Leonardo! For kids and adults, it is a great way to explore. P.S. I caution those who enter the gift shop… I don’t spend money easily but they offer fascinating toys and modestly priced jewelry. Thanks for posting this opportunity to visit!
